Both HOTs still check out good with a multimeter. I checked for B+ at R117 and am getting 0V. I checked the resistors in the power supply section and they appear to be good. Could the TDA4605-15 controller chip be bad? I have a couple TDA4605-3, I'm assuming they are compatible?

Most likely it is a bad hard drive. I had the same issue with a golden tee 2005 green board ( Same board as Buck hunter) that I bought off ebay a few years ago. I replaced the hard drive and everything worked fine. You can usually get a hard drive off ebay for about $25 plus shipping.

Does anybody know if Egg Venture can be converted to Egg Venture Deluxe, with a ROM swap or reprogramming. If anyone has done this could you let me know which ROMs need reprogramming. I'm assuming I can just use the mame ROM images?
