What I was calling the contrast is the dial located next to the flyback. If I turn it to the right the screen goes to white. The other dial next to it seems to be some sort of focus.

I just replaced my video board for the GO7 monitor and now I have shadows or ghosting around all the words and "bees". I tried to turn down the contrast but it didn't seem to make much difference. Any other suggestions?
