    Success! I finally had time to get back to working on the Star trek problem. Installed the new SD board and added a new sling coil (properly installed this time) and everything is working well. Thanks for the help!

    Thanks for the advice. I will order a set of female connectors for all of my boards. I did check the previously installed coil and I installed it upside down! I've got a new coil and will install it correctly and see what happens. I'll report back. Thanks!
