sorry for the necrobump. this was a good azz local auction. we have a strong core of florida arcade enthusiasts. normally, none of these games end up in a basement, hidden.
our state has normal get-togethers. covid slowed us down, but 2021, we're going to get out and socialize a bit more.

used good DMD displays average around a 100 bucks. colorDMD display is well worth the cash, though.
when i come across a line or 2 out on a DMD that hits our shop, i just pinch the glass to the PCB, and if the line turns on, it's a solder issue usually. good job with the repair on the LAH...
Did midway make the clowns arcade in a wall or shelf mount option? or a cartridge?
friend remembers this game, but he says he had it in a wall mount option, 35ish years ago. i was thinking a vectrex game, but i have no idea.
he does remember the black and white game play with the color overlay...

ok, just to make sure, I retested at the hard drive power in cables, and I actually do lose a decent bit.
tested at 5.36 at the power supply output, gave me 5.16/5.17 at the hard drive power cable ends, with same results...
mine does that at 5.26 and at 4.99 and all zones in between...currently set at 5.09.
I am measuring at the power supply, I could measure at the hard drive wire unplugged for board levels, but doubt I'm losing much if any.
you've been a huge help. I can breathe easy using the tube in something...
ok, I have no difference in that LEDs action from 4.99 to 5.25, increments of .5 volts. I'm guessing my main board is belly up?
video: https://youtu.be/oIH1pjsWYns
the LED to the right, only comes on with the original bad hard drive loaded (as shown in video).
the LED to the left is the one...
ok, on the main PCB, there are 3 LEDs next to the power out wire that powers the hard drive. all 3 lit solid.
on the opposite corner, there is 1 LED. it turns on 1/2 bright, 9 seconds. turns full bright for 2 seconds. turns off for an instant, then turns on 1/2 bright for 9 seconds, and loops...
