    G05-801 no HV

I swapped the voltage doubler from the working cage to the non-worker, made no difference (and the working cage is still working). Atari's The Book and the BW FAQ points to either open Q900, Q902, Q903, R906 or T900 when base of Q900 measures 25V. All of those, except T900, have been swapped...

    G05-801 no HV

Have 2 x G05-801. One is working and one has no HV. The non-worker has a slightly different HV PCB layout compared to the working one. The working HV (and the rest of the boards of the monitor) seems to compare to "issue 1" of the manual and maybe versions above that. C902 on the working board...

    RoadBlasters issue.

@mecha Yes, ATARI released fixes for both Road Runner and RoadBlasters if you have the older TTL mainboards. As far as I know, if you have the LSI mainboard you're compatible with all games and all versions of the cartridges (yes, there are TTL and LSI cartridges as well).

    WTB: Defender coindoor frame

Have the stainless steel coindoor and need the frame to go with it to restore a Williams Defender cabinet. LMK if you have it - thanks! (CONUS shipping)

    RoadBlasters issue.

Then you have the old revision of mainboard (TTL (not LSI)) so then probably the bulletin I attached applies to your setup and that is the problem.

    RoadBlasters issue.

I was just assuming that this was a working setup previously but if it's unknown if it has been working then ATARI released several bulletins on how to modify the older revisions of the mainboard to cover later released games like Road Runner and RoadBlasters. If the mainboard is of a LSI (not...

    RoadBlasters issue.

I would do what @mecha recommends but I would also measure the voltage(s) on the mainboard and the cartridge (but make sure you don't "fiddle" with the probes since it's a narrow compartment inside the System I cabinet and quite hard/difficult to reach and see what you're doing). But check the...

    Temple of Doom: Voltage Questions

ATARI System I has line audio output (separate amplifier is required for sound (for example the Audio Regulator III which provides power as well)). If you want to hook up a System I mainboard + System I cartridge on the bench then you can use +12V instead. Same with the negative voltage, use...

WTB: Asteroids harness (G05 801) for bench testing

A bit hard to see all the connectors and if the right one is there for the G05 801. Worst case I need to make an adapter I guess (need to source the correct connector). From searching I found this to be likely (part number may be an internal distributor number): 150179-2060 - Housing...

WTB: Asteroids harness (G05 801) for bench testing

Great information @andrewb - thanks a lot! The connector (J8) on my AR is a 4 pin connector so that's fine I guess. If I was to make my own harness what type of connectors/pins are involved (to make the essential at least (power and X-Y signals))? I understand that I need an edge connector for...

WTB: Asteroids harness (G05 801) for bench testing

Would like to test a couple of Electrohome G05 801 monitors and would need a harness for this. Have a B/W powerbrick (marked A006555 on the underside of the brick (diode PCB)). and an Audio Regulator PCB (marked A034485) which I hope is the right parts if anybody know/can confirm? Thanks!
