Exactly what my boardset will do also. Only will happen when you have hands on 2 vines. You will sometimes go through the key.
Wonder if it could be an early ROM version?
I also have the Braze kit, but that uses your current ROMs I believe. So I guess it is still possible for it to be a ROM...
I have the same issue on a dedicated 2-board stack. I can say it only happens when hands are on opposite vines. Both on one it does not happen. You can be right under the key and it does not push it up. Go back down again and pick it up and it's fine.
