Horrible movie, horrible music, horrible everything. Maybe you had to be from that generation, I don't know as I was just in kindergarden at the time and never got into that era's rock music. I tried watching it simply for the pinball references but couldn't take more than 5 minutes at a time.

LW3 was my first DE machine and it does have a different feel from a Williams. The only animation I find annoying is the 1-2-3 sequence stop in play but there is a benefit as it does allow time for a gulp of beer during game play.

I own both. Pinbot is flat out awesome, a classic just as everyone says. I think LW3 is much more fun than it is given credit for and I enjoy mine a lot. The reality of LW3's however is they are selling pretty cheap, one of the cheapest DMD machines you can buy. I forget what I paid over a year...

I forget exactly what I paid for mine off-route Summer 2008 but it was around $ 800 +/- a few dollars. The machine was in very good working order but needed shopped out bad. The guy that helps me fix my machines has a soldering gun with a built in desoldering pump. That is one sweet tool for quickly fixing a circuit board. Maybe to a lot of you pro techs it is nothing new but for an amateur like me it thought it was slick.
