Indeed, the ability to hold more than 20 bombs does sound like another way of easing the pain. Depending on the NEW difficulty ramp, I might increase the number you can carry over each level until some max cap (30? 40?)

Any thoughts on why they removed the engine-flames effect? It definitely seems like an improvement to me.

The funniest part of this thread (for me) is it started over Omega Race... a 10fps flickering vector mess. Not sure if it was the coder's fault or hardware limitation (fail) but the low fps of that game always stood out and killed the game for me. A shame too, the cabinet is incredible and...
