I tried to convert my NBA JAM board to T.E. and it just showed garbled graphics. Made a thread about it her with no real outcome. Happy to hear if anyone figures it out!!
I think they're rubbish personally, far too overpriced for the cheaply built kit they are. Note: for disclosure I run a store selling parts and machines etc in Australia, but this does not affect my opinion of the xarcade!
monsterkong PM'd me for more info on the cap trick, so I thought I'd post it here too.
You need to use a electrolytic capacitor with a value of <10µf, rated at least 10V.
Put a multimeter across the "Power ON" pins on the motherboard (it should read around 5V). If the number is positive, then...
That will turn the power supply on but may cause othe problems with the pc not thinking it has been booted.
Easiest way is to hook a capacitor over the power on pins on the motherboard instead of having it go to the switch. Works every time.
Ha, not sure if it is great minds think alike, or is that fools seldom differ ;):D
I was born on the 5th of October, few different years though (84).

I've always made up a wooden adapter that uses the mounting holes on the back of the monitor to secure the monitor to the wood, and then drill holes in the wood where the original monitor holes are. Also paint the wood black to make it stealthy :)
If you're just wanting to play the game and not actually after the full kit, do you know you can get other games working on different security carts now?
