It now has a new coil, plunger, sleeve and stop and I also changed the sleeve that the flipper rod slides into.

When purchased, it included a "new" (from 2006) rubber kit and flipper rebuild kit. The day before I picked it up, the PO put the new coil and plunger and stop in. I removed and checked it the day I started the post. I also ordered a wms red coil fl-11630. The yellow coil that was getting hot...

Eos gap is good. Resistance is good on coil. Capacitor is bad that feeds through the eos switch. Now to find a capacitor. Any idea the of specs on that cap?

I knew there would be sparking because it's breaking the contact. The right side doesn't spark when the connection is broken. The coil gets very hot. Like too hot to touch.

To clarify. From the underside I can see the arc when the two points open on the left side eos switch. Nothing on the right.

Scramble the left side flipper arcs when the eos switch breaks. The right side does nothing when the eos switch breaks.
