I'm not sure, but I think that's regular latex. No matter what brand you use, make sure it's acrylic enamel and not latex. Auto paints are still a better choice, but you need to know what you're doing. They require reducer and hardner.
I remember the 7-Eleven next to the bike shop my friend worked at,had a DK. This was sometime in mid 1981. The machine was new and had the ladder cheat. I had the high score,209,000,on it for a while. The elevator screen was the one to get mastered. I had it figured out. The only thing to worry...
You have to remember that this was the early 80's and Polaris was not a good product at the time. We didn't grow up with PWC. He liked the rotory valve engine of the Sea Doo. He wasn't biased at all. He just had worked on all of them and knew the Polaris was the slowest at the time. The...
My buddy was PWC mechanic,he also was a service manager at a Yamaha dealer. He used to call those SloLaris. He had my '84 550 stand up going close to 50mph. I did build a newer reed valve engine,to replace the tired piston port engine. That little thing gets squirrely at that speed. The new ones...
I used the biggest tip I had and I thinned to the maximum I could. It just wouldn't spray consistently. I couldn't understand it because the tip was for heavier bases like primer. I couldn't make a pass without a run somewhere, and I know how to use a HVLP gun. So I.masked.one side off and...
I used Sherwin Williams Pro Classic and it's fantastic stuff. I took a cp latch panel in and they color matched it perfectly. To get the match, they only had the base color in acrylic enamel. I thinned it to the max and used floral. I had a 1.8 tip and it struggled to get the paint through...
The big advantage PA has is he has a few places to get his art screened or printed,as well as financial ability to keep a lot of stock on hand. Rich is a one man band and just takes on too much. It's easier, when you can just outsource every part of the process, except selling and shipping.
The Sherwin Williams Pro Classic is actually Acrylic Enamel and not a latex. It a superior paint to any latex. The surface is hard as a rock and smooth as a babies ass on my DK. I took a panel from behind the CP and they color matched it.
I'm glad he didn't do that with my NOS DK side art. I got it back and sent it to Darren. He produced the most accurate set with it. I was skeptical that is was NOS because it wasn't screened. Evidently it was offset printed instead of screened.
Don't like it,scroll on by. Coin ops have been called arcade cabs for years. They are cabinets you find in arcades,so they became know as arcade cabinet or cabs for short.
