I recently built an Atari inspired cabaret and used THIS for my woodgrain. I'm not sure how close it is to an original but I was happy with the results. If you aren't trying to match it to something already on the cabinet, it's probably good enough. They have a lot of colors to choose from too...
This cab came out great. Do you assemble the cabinet and then laminate or laminate each panel and then assemble it? The side panels wouldn't matter but the panel with the marquee and coin door seems like it would be difficult to laminate after the fact (all of the interior panels seem like...
Thanks for that. I really like your work. Looks like the cabaret is about as deep as the regular sized one likely due to the CRT. I have been building my own cabarets and I'm trying to decide what to do for the next one and making a copy of a classic cab like you have been doing is appealing.

Is there anywhere that has the dimensions of the cabinet (or just the side panels)? I'm wondering how tall and how deep it is.... Due to space constraints, I think I need to limit my cabinets to...
This is an insane restoration. I can't even believe the before and after pics. How did you clean up the plywood paneling so good? The pics make it look like you stripped and then bondoed but the edges and everything look perfect.
How long did this take?
