Thanks for the tips. A broken spring makes total sense.
I just noticed your enhanced Out Run ROMs. I will probably do that upgrade too while I'm at it. Thanks for providing these :)
Looking for some advice about Out Run.
a) What kind of grease should I use on the pedal pots, steering pots, and sliding shaker platform?
b) What causes the shifter to get sloppy and lose it's positive detent? How is this fixed? Also, how do I get the ting out of the control panel? The...
Should of mentioned that the plan is to have it blend in with other games in the same space, and we'll likely have to hide the taps.
We're going to hook it up to and RFID reader and dispense beer based on your account. Also the high score table will reflect how many beers you've had :)
Pole Position is a good idea, since it's practically impossible to get those suckers working :)
What I'll probably end up doing is looking for a trashed cab on CL and take one side off and widen it as necessary.
Tapper is something I thought about putting on there, I'd even like to make custom ROMs, but that's a lot of work (this is for the office, not for home). I was asking about cabs because there are plenty that are available that would not be restoration candidates, and it would give me a good...
What about those of us that DID create second accounts? Is there any way to join them? I had a lot of posts under my old account (JaffaMused), but since made this one. It would be cool if there was a way of pulling all of my old posts, start date, etc into this account.
Looking for project cabs to turn into a kegerator for work.
Need something fairly wide to get the refrigeration equipment in there. Just wondering if there's something that would be a good starting point, or if we should build the cab from scratch.
Plan is to put an LCD screen in it with a...
I'm asking for my neighbor.
Are there any good slot techs in So.Cal (Ventura County, San Fernando Valley, LA areas)?
He's having problems with his slot machine. Could just be related to the bill acceptor. He said it reports something about a "com error".
Thanks!
I just had a game room built with a wooden (well, laminate) floor. I don't want to just move the games and pins in and scratch the crap out of it.
What do you guys recommend for protecting the floor against the feet of the games and pins?
I have the replacement decals, Cliffy protectors for the cellar holes and ramp. I just want to get the PF clean before I start putting the new parts on :)
If I could get rid of the smudgy looking black cracks, then I'll be happy.
