*disclaimer - late 40s dipstick that knows how to turn on his cabs using google home but has very little *actual* technical knowledge about maintenance/repair on arcade games comments imminent*
Ive been here for a few years but Im not very active other than lurking for the most part. I have two...
I got my Backbit cart in today and since that's working like a champ, I no longer need this cart. It's a blue one, in pristine condition, and this is the rewrite version of the menu, so it LOOKS like the V3 161 Menu with Athena on the front.
Things of note:
This cart includes all the good...
Hey man nothing wrong with that at all. I just decided to go with the Vortex cart for ease of use and space, and then I bought a BackBit cart that will hopefully ship soon, and then sell the Vortex one.
I would love to have a stack of MVS carts like I used to and run a 4 slot in my Neo25, but...
Same. I have the 4 slot board the cab came with, also a 2 slot I picked up on ArcadeProjects, and then finally an MV1C with a Vortex cart and a BIOSMasta with the VMC in it. I agree, there's really not a need for multi slot boards unless someone prefers it.
I have a Neo25, it is wired for MVS only, not JAMMA. So if you want to put anything else in there (or a single slot MVS board, or IGS PGM) you'll want to get a JNX adapter so it doesnt mess things up on that pretty pretty cab.
From what I understand the Neo Candy 25 (similar but different) is...
Can confirm.
All I have to do is say "Hey google, turn on the NeoGeo/Arcade (its a chewlix)/Primal Rage/MiSTer/Saturn/Dreamcast" and I'm good to go. Smart switches are the best.
Prices do not include shipping. Prefer paypal G&S + 5%.
Happy to take more pics upon request. Though with KOF 95, it still has its foil seal, and Neo Cup 98 still has one of the stickers on a screw that is undamaged so A. they are official, and B. not sure if you wanna crack the seals.
I'm...
Actually it likely has everything to do with it. Most if not all of the V3 carts were bought up by people to create their own carts or build them for others (such as in this thread). See this post for an example.
