Same. I have the 4 slot board the cab came with, also a 2 slot I picked up on ArcadeProjects, and then finally an MV1C with a Vortex cart and a BIOSMasta with the VMC in it. I agree, there's really not a need for multi slot boards unless someone prefers it.

Can confirm. All I have to do is say "Hey google, turn on the NeoGeo/Arcade (its a chewlix)/Primal Rage/MiSTer/Saturn/Dreamcast" and I'm good to go. Smart switches are the best.

Actually it likely has everything to do with it. Most if not all of the V3 carts were bought up by people to create their own carts or build them for others (such as in this thread). See this post for an example.
