Are there any good places to look when hunting down a 100v isolation transformer? Hopefully the chassis didn't get smoked. If it did it looks like I'll be having some fun there as well.

I recently picked up a DK cab that had been converted to golden axe at some point in the past. The cab wouldn't power up, so I started with the AC plug working my way toward the power block in the cab. My goal here is mainly to get what I can working in the cab before ripping out golden axe...

I don't think parting out pieces of a cab is always a "bad" thing. In this case, it is a DK living in a DK JR cab. For people trying to restore cabinets back to their original condition, parting this thing out (at least the DK specific parts) and putting DK JR back in it would be the best...

Just wanted to follow-up and close off this thread. Replacing the I-40 adapter fixed the problem and the machine works great now thanks to the wealth of knowledge in these forums and members.
