Original Fast & Furious - Phoenix BIOS Settings?
Hi.
I have an original Fast and Furious that doesn't use the Dell computer. It appears that the bios has been reset to default settings. The BIOS is Phoenix.
I contacted Raw Thrills, and they walked me through some BIOS settings, but all the...
Hi.
What you're looking for is a Vegas System Board. I have included a photo of what it looked like before someone took it out of your cabinet.
I'm pretty sure you can pick one up rather cheap on ebay.

Hi Everyone.
Does anyone know how to disable ticket payout on a Skee Ball Extreme?
This is the one that uses the same main board as Tower of Power.
And no, I don't have the manual. :)
As always, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi.
Take a look just below the VGA port on the games main board. Do you see a small header there? If yes, this is where you get your RGB and sync to input into the VGA Adapter Board, and not from the VGA port. I don't remember off hand what the exact pinout was, but I do have all this...
Hi.
I've never seen this system lag, but you are able to replicate it rather regularly, run each cabinet as a stand alone unit and see if it still happens. One thing I'm thinking is the F/O cables between the games. May be something there.

Hi.
Where I work, a lot of the redemption games are fitted with Ticket Mechs that are made in Taiwan. I'm used to repairing Deltronic Ticket Mechs, but the one's I'm asking about are called "Dtype Rev 1.2". Does anyone have schematics for these?
Thanks in advance!

Hi.
Solved. All I needed was the wiring diagram and it showed me where to get the video. Turns out you don't use the VGA port, rather CN6 (just below it). Hooked the converter board to CN6, and never looked back.
Thanks!

Hi.
I figured it out. Turns out the blue gun in the picture tube is shorted on. Even with blue turned completely off, the blue is still on.
I know the picture tube for all practical purposes is toast, but if I got my hands on a rejuvinator, could that possibly have any effect on the picture...
Hi.
I finally got through to wells gardner. The problem was they recently switched phone systems and all the tech support calls were being routed to someone named "Les". After waiting a week for a response, I called back and spoke to the operator and was transferred to the manager of tech...
Hi.
I have a Wells Gardner CGA converter (model number PALCD9001) that came with the monitor, but nobody at W/G is able to give me the pinouts to the darn thing. I have included a photo of the PCA they sent with the replacement monitor. It plugs right into the VGA port of the replacement...
Hi.
I have a Lost World Deluxe with the 50" Mitsubishi projection set. The picture as of late was so bad, I bought an LCD monitor to replace it.
There is a VGA (DB15) plug on the games main board, which I know is EGA. My question is do I need a converter to be able to make this work with...
Hi.
Update:
After leaving it off for a day it came back on. I do get video (I can see the game), it's just all blue.
No domed caps. Didn't short anything out. Would a shorted gun not allow the other colors to show?
I was hoping it could be reset somehow.
Thanks.

Hi.
It sounds like something is loading the power supply down. Reflowing all the connections is a great place to start. Also, feel the wires. Do they feel warm? If they feel unusually warm, this is usually due to a poor connection. The heat is due to the bad connection creating resistance...
Hi.
I have a D9400 in a Fast and Furious, and after reflowing many of the caps, the picture came back. The only problem is everything is blue like the driver was shorted. The only time I see red or green is when I selected degauss from the OSD.
I checked all the colour drivers on the neck...
