Funny... I was just doing the same last night. I replaced the switch next to r2.. screws would not fricken come out.

On mine, the Death Star starts spinning when the ball is launched - I don't think it stops spinning during game play. R2 is the same way. Since it is intermittent, my first check would be to check the solder on the wires to the motors... it's a good place to start at least. Good luck.

Well... finally finished this nightmare project. I think I have been doing this one on and off for about a year! All in all I think it came out o.k. Funny, I don't even really like the game, and I don't especially care for cocktail games, but when I saw the state of disrepair I could not...

O.K. - Just rebuilt a flipper (it broke) and WHOA! The ball is FLYING around the play field now... not sure what is going on. Air balls GALORE. Almost not playable. Anyone know why rebuilding one flipper could make the game so friggin' fast and HARD...?

Wondering if anyone out there that has a DE Star Wars would be willing to get me the dimensions to the actual Plastic target part of this... My friend and I want to make a pressure cast and crank out a couple. I'm tired of looking... seems like there is none out there? Anyone willing to help...
