Yea dkjr is what was on the board when I got it. Wether or not someone else changed it before I got it is unknown. I do have schematics for a version 14 board and I'll have to look at it again when I get to my bench but I was sure it also said dkjr on the schematics.
Ok peeps I know someone has a broken dkjr CPU board revision 14 they are willing to sell. I have the video board and not for nothing I have tried to make it work and with the 02 CPU board I have and I didn't get into data line details but they are 100 percent different along with what controls...
Hey guys long time lurker of this project and I'm looking for a PCB now to start my process into building this. It doesn't have to be built as I like soldering and I'm in the USA. Thanks all
Lol nah it came to be that the big ECL ram at 2h was bad. As soon as I changed that I at least got my voltages back to normal and square blocks moving around from the missing sprite info. Slowly but surely figuring this board out.
Scuba King it is interesting to say the least. Jumping pin 9 to 5 did make the game run. Though I have some serious other issues with the game not displaying the sprites right now and the background is messed up but it is getting better. Right now I'm trying to figure out why I'm getting...
Well I'm going to ignore all the negative comments in here and just post about what I've found. I have a ttl bible already and what has been done with the 30 plus chips is due to the fact that they were in fact rusty to a point where I wasn't getting a good signal from my test probe sometimes...
Man do I wish there was an upgrade for the normal nba jam boards. You guys see that midway last year or.someone released alot of source code for older.games and nba jam, The, and hangtime are all in there. I've been looking through the code trying to figure out if there is something obvious that...
Yea I thought I checked it beforehand though. I must have been on a pin before or after it and didn't notice. I also thought that having a static screen meant you had clocks. It's been a crazy board.
Update! I have found at least one issue that will give the game life. The clock signal that runs through from the video to the CPU board I was getting a problem getting it through the main board. Which is weird because it works in the clock is being sent through the video to the CPU side but...
I'm in the process of rechecking everything just to be doubly sure and so far I've come up with nothing wrong with the traces. I also went ahead and replaced any Fujitsu chips. There is only a couple left now but I don't have those 283s currently. Waiting on a shipment. But every other Fujitsu...
I like that there are the blank fpgas available. I'm also under the impression that the plcc chip hasn't been able to be read. But logic dictates that it should have been due to it being in mame. Did they do something different or is the fpga rom file on there?
