Stun Runner is a legend, following Hard Drivin as one of the world's first popular ploygon-drawn videogames. I prefer the sit-down version too, no contest.

There was one of those in a local arcade way back when that came out, the loud speakers make it a cool way to experience the game. There is a pic of this cabinet in the archives of the "Atari Anniversary" game.

That wasn't me, as much as I would love to have a Quantum cabinet. I wish there was something like that left in the house I bought, only a bunch of wire rolls and pictures of Maryln Monroe are worth anything

the closest game I can think of is 'king of dragons', which is very like golden axe. I'm just guessing here because of the date.
