Just to update this thread. I bought a capacitor kit and replaced 39 caps + the filter cap and the issue seems to be resolved. Thanks to everyone who helped!

If you look carefully at the pictures you can see the outline of where the normal 45 hole is. Maybe you can pop or cut it out?
