Huh, really? That's a shame. Other than MEI acceptors, I haven't had any interaction with any of their product lines. (That I know of.)
On the PLUS side, it means a lot more Mars acceptors in on the used market for those of us that don't need 'the latest'.
For the record, it looks like the Series 2000 acceptors are now 'legacy'. Guessing CPI wanted to rebrand everything, so the new acceptors are the 'Taos' series. Looks like they share a lot in common (mounting, magazines), but are a step up in elecronics, and faster. Tempted to call my...
No problem! It is, yeah - even though the prices may be out of date, it's great to be able to look up part numbers when repairing them.
Wish I could get a newer one now, too.

I'll take it down after this weekend, just in case. Don't want them comin' after me. I LIKELY got this from my distributor, but really don't remember.

After you posted that (Thanks again, by the way) I decided to look at...
Thanks for the link!
Yeah sadly, as far as I can tell, the magazines aren't labeled with their overall part number like that. (There are part numbers stamped inside for each of the individual parts, though - like, for example, the part number for the top lid is 250028047)
I would LOVE for...
Ah, thanks!
If you know what the bill count is for the magazine, it would be appreciated.
The 500-bill magazine was made with BOTH the top and side door. (300 and lower was top door only.. Higher than 500 and it's side-door only.)
I have a few with the top door, but they're not fitting in...
Hey all -
I have a handful of stacker magazines, and from MEI/Mars, they don't come labeled as to their capacity.
Was wondering if someone that had a 300 and/or 500 capacity magazine for a bill acceptor from Mars/MEI can get the width measurement for me? It would be appreciated!
