i was wondering what the best way to 'set' an overlay on is. I dont want to 'eyeball' it and then have it crocked and then have to try and peel it back up again. That will ruin it for sure! Thanks for any help.

Ive never discharged a monitor. They scare me as i said before. What is the best way to do this? I have heard if done wrong,a cascade effect can occur damaging monitor boards.

yes, they all look like that one. The problem is, im not sure what chips are for video, which ones are for vertical, etc.

Actually, now that i look at it closer. The second PCB isnt missing every other horizontal line...it actually is a solid horizontal 'orangish' stripe on every other line.

what kind of gloves? dishgloves? i dunno. lol
