So i have just picked up a cocktail cabinet with a Toei CM-R14
The issue it is having is the colors start off beautiful then they slowly fade off into nothing.
I have atached a video of it so you can see.
Things i have done so far..
Checked b+ seems to be okay between allowed...
I guess the part how to build one must have came to be a real shock, the work it took to write it up step by step for people in the hobby and you take the piss like that, now I know why people don't share these things good work mate
Hey Guys, not sure if this is the right place but i came across this on the net and i think it is awesome.
For years i wanted one of these but they are just way to expensive, i just finished making one for $140 AUD and they retail for $650 AUD here...
Does anyone have manual or schematic of this??
Got two with the same issue,
Two fuses blowing, and one 2200uf 25v cap bulged, with one of the fuses has a dead short somewhere with one out i get high voltage but no picture.
Just seeing if i could save myself time if someone has the manual as...
Ill take your word for it and, ill go back and clean and clean until i think no more cleaning can be done.
Then ill track down those chips thanks :) ill report my findings!
Hey Thanks for that, yeah it doesn't appear to be a contact issue, i tested from cart to slot making good contact on all pins.
I then tested from each slot to the chips to make sure there was no broken traces.
They all tested well.
So i am guessing i have a dead chip or many lol, does anyone...

I am a SCADA Engineer, but after hours i repair All Arcade Monitors, and Power supply.
with Generally a week turn around depending on how much of a back log i have.
I have not come across this monitor in Australia, but one thing i always check when i hear a tick is turn off all the lights and look at the annode cap and HV unit.
Sometimes it gets dirty under there when you remove it to restore the chassis, if it is that clean the area then apply new grease...
Thanks Mate, i put alot of work into writing the program for that and making it open source for all those out there that would like a rotating monitor, however this controller i build doesnt just do that, it can control 40 + relays/functions
In terms of the cabinet i really like it for a few...
Now i am yet to finish the top level i just ran out of time, the idea will be that there will be a glass window to be able to see inside the machine, and alot of other things, but we will talk about that when we get there cant ruin the surprise now can we?
The bottom 2 fans draw in air to cool...

I have completed the front, i know it looks horrible but i am waiting for the glass to come and with the addition of decals and paint it will come up a treat!

haha thanks man, i didnt think i liked them either but after seeing them in action they are awesome!
they are silent :), however if something was to get hot the custom electronics will turn the fans up to lower system temps, if needed.
