My MK2 started having the exact same issue today (goes directly to Game Over screen) after I tilted the cabinet to add some leg levelers. Guess I’ll take it out again and try reseating everything. Sigh.
Holy smoke you're right. Guess I'm in the market for some actual leg extensions as well :-(
I did exactly the same thing with my guns (I think I got the ideas from you)! I'll let you know and send photos if I find a way to secure the cable to the bottom of the CP so it doesn't get pulled out...
Thanks for the clarification and no offense intended. I think my confusion was assuming that your comment "A single board only outputs to a single monitor." was referring to all boards, not just your RPI.
Would be awesome if multiple RPI boards could talk to each other and replicate the...
Thanks for the clarification! Looks like I'm in the market for an extra Red Tent power supply :)
I think some of your text was cut off -- if you mean just a small "hole" under the CP (which I already have), my concern is that someone pulling too hard on the gun will rip the cable & wiring out...
Awesome! I love the PlayChoice toppers as well. Good to know I can somehow use the existing power supply to power multiple boards.
How are you securing the gun's security cable to the hole below the control panel? I have some extra VS Gun mounting hardware that I can use, but I want to minimize...
Nice work! Kind of sad that you can't play VS Balloon Fight or VS Wrecking Crew anymore...that PC10 PCB cage is amazing (you must really love PlayChoice :)) Do you have a closeup of the modification you made to the power supply? Also, any plans to add a light gun to one side for Duck...
I think I see what you're saying -- unlike VS DualSystem PCBs, the RPI2PlayChoice only outputs to a single monitor. I own two different red tents and they only come with a location to mount a single PCB, but yes they technically have "two harnesses" connected to each board in order to drive both...
Thanks for the quick reply!
"You can do dual monitor games on each side" -> What does this mean? How would different video be output to the other monitor from a single board along with controls to allow the 2nd player to play?
"...or setup net play on each side to play the same instance of a...
Thanks for the photos. One of the coolest things about owning a Red Tent is being able to play dual-monitor games (VS Balloon Fight, VS Wrecking Crew, VS Tennis, VS Baseball, etc.) Have you tested this or are you just running half of a red tent? I don't see how these dual-monitor games would...
Ordered one too!
Could you please post close-up photos of your holster work? There are 3 different holster types and I need to decide what to get, and how to install with minimal damage. Also, did you install 2 different guns? I’m working on Gumshoe/Hogan’s Alley/Duck Hunt boards but I’m...
Hi friends, I stupidly unplugged my Star Wars while it was on and now the monitor don’t turn on. All audio & game logic is working fine, so I’m hoping it’s just a burnt fuse. I’ve checked the manual and fuse box schematic, but not sure which is the culprit. I took photos of the fuse box...
That looks like a complete fixture...is your cabinet missing the entire fluorescent light fixture, or just the bulb? If it's just the bulb then one of these should work fine:

Just to add...I'm not sure how much you want to spend, but if you're having trouble cleaning up the gas pedal, that site sells NOS gas pedals as well (make sure you get the stand-up version) or see if anyone on KLOV has an extra :) Have fun!
Wow, beautiful game! You got a bargain IMO. Looks like it even has the decals intact...I'm still searching for a map decal and new floor mat (amazing cleaning job on that :)).

I'm also thinking of upgrading the...
