heh heh... I actually grew up in Chillicothe. :-) Both are Wells Gardner 19inch monitor. APB is vertical, Xenophobe is horizontal.

I hope my wife never sees that picture. I've never thought of using an arcade cabinet as a planter and don't know if I could handle it...

I replaced the wiring harness. same results. I still need to get some photos. something along the videoPCB rather than the monitor sounds logical... in my experimentations with the video controls I've gotten vivid colors and everything.

I'm working on an Atari APB. Bought a replacement wiring harness in the hopes the video connection from the pcb was bad. Everything checks out with that... so I now have a spare wiring harness. Willing to sell or trade. main interests in trades are an apb videoboard or any LS30 pcb.

Sounds like an adapter is the best route. I want to keep this going primarily as Ikar Warriors, but a little functionality to morph into other ls30 games would be great. Nods on the Midnight Resistance... not ready to make that sortof drive yet though. ;-)

I believe the cabinet was originally a phoenix, converted to Ikari at some point. The pinouts between Ikari and Guerilla war's pcbs don't match... the video connection is different. Ikari is one straight line and Guerilla War is two seperate ports. One the same or similar size as Ikari's...

I've recently gotten a Guerilla War PCB off ebay. I thought it was compatible with Ikari, but I must have the earlier non-Jamma version. What would I need to do to convert? I'm not wanting to convert permanently... just switch them out every few months or so.

Nice to see some retro action in Texas. I nearly moved there early last year... was living there for about a month as a contractor. I probably gained about 20 pounds... great little restaurants around there. :-)

Hello, I'm looking for the following PCBs or conversion kits... There isn't, by chance, a multiPCB format with all/many of the rotary controller games is there??? The world would be a much better place if such a thing exists. Time Soldiers SAR - Search and Resque Midnight Resistance Ikari III...

Its a great game. I think all of the 8way rotary games are a lot of fun. I haven't played it in years... just got a pcb board from ebay and I look forward to slapping it in.

Indeed... good posting. I've always loved the rotary controller games and its nice to meet up with some fellow afficianados. I'm just now starting a quest to get a few of these going. I guess my WTB list is ALL of them, including Ikari since mine is all crazy.
