Check your IDC connector and header pins in the backbox for that connector. Off the top of my head I don't remember the number, but it's on the lower left hand side of the board. Check your manual. Mine were acting flaky, sometimes registering, sometimes not, turned out to be a bad IDC connector.

When you say they work in test mode, do they work in switch test mode, or are you saying that they reset when you test the solenoids?

LOL, it's Rudy in drag! If the rest of it is in good shape you could get a non-David Bowie Rudy back on there for under $100. That seems like a good price for a FH these days. Someone could get a decent pin unless it needs a lot of work.

You could use the 4 AA battery holder if you run a jumper wire instead of the 4th battery, otherwise you'd have 6 volts versus 4.5 volts. I'd just wait until they have the 3 AA holder in myself.

AAA and AA have the same voltage, so it'll work but the batteries won't last as long. I'd get a AA holder. The difference in battery life is significant. On my Taxi when my Marilyn and Pinbot drop targets get flaky, wiggling some of the wires on the left side in the back box will get it...

Gotcha. I didn't know if there are plans out there where you could throw one together using MDF, etc.

Hey, you're right. I've seen that pin advertised on one of the other pin sites and it did state that it has a Twister translite. My bad! :( I was being sarcastic about the rare part. ;) I agree, that is overpriced for that shape.

The seller does state that it has a Twister translite, that makes it rare. A good deal at that price!

Why couldn't you paint them?

No luck. Tried using my dremel to shave down the glass to the leads, but after applying the conductive paint, it's still not working. Oh well, it was worth a shot.
