Barely used but works great. $80 shipped(USA) for the pair, about a 33% discount over buying the set new. Out of the USA shipping for the price of actual shipping.
I've had a few people express interest in individual games. I'll take any offers as long as I can move these- I need to use my garage for other things right now. Didn't realize there would be such interest. I just helped someone move yesterday and overloaded my garage so I can't get great...
[FS-CA] Sold -Selling off my games Tron Asteroids Boot Camp Sly Spy
Four arcade games: Asteroids, Tron, Sly Spy all working. Boot camp works but monitor chassis keeps going out so it needs to be fixed. Pretty clean machines, I've rebuilt the Tron control panel, recapped the sly spy and...
I have one PC with a flat 19" CRT and one with a 23" LCD. For me, it depends on the application. I like them both. They are just ... different.
For me, a CRT is more vibrant and warm at the same time.
An LCD looks sharp, but loses the warmth. But an LCD is still my main display because of...
Funny that pulling out would turn something on.
But it is nice to know if you didn't already. Took me a couple years and a kid to figure this one out. Really. My kid was playing with an interlock and a light bulb went off. Always passively wondered why so many wires were needed to connect a...
Wanna real view in to the life? Check out my garage. Amongst all the other garage crap you might find a few games that work. But you'll also find a billion worthless things that might be helpful one day if I ever decide to restore any of this old $hit.
Can't speak for the OP but I once opened a checking account and was automatically given a savings account that I distinctly said I didn't want but the bank issued it to me anyway. After 3 years I closed the checking account and the savings account went with it. Never used the savings account.
On the flip side, CL is almost useless in the Bay Area anymore. Same group posting the same games week after week. Maybe something new pops up once in a while.
Wico 2 1/4" trackball roller repro's - any interest?
Apparently there isn't many (or any) of these NOS floating around so I'm about to reproduce them. My uncle is a master machinist and asked if there were others interested in these. If so, he might be willing to make more than just the four...
Went through Ken's repair tips and replaced two resistors. One was just a tad off but I had a replacement here. The other was dead. I re-soldered a few components, replaced a fuse just for fun and brought the monitor back to life. It was a little blurry, so after about 2 minutes I was...
Finally got to replace X303 and X304. The picture is nicely centered, but even with the width coil removed it won't fill the screen, leaving about 1" on each side. When I put the width coil back in, no amount of adjustment does anything that I can tell. I have not yet fiddled with cap 515 as...
