I'll be bringing a JAMMA board of the new arcade game I'm designing, SKYCURSER. It will be my first time at California Extreme and I'm really excited about it.
You can learn a bit more about it here: www.skycurser.com
The event organizers were nice enough to help me find a candy cab to...
Just wanted to share some pics from our release event at Galloping Ghost last Saturday.
We showed up at about 11am that day and installed a conversion kit to a completely empty cabinet and the game was up and running that evening. It was an incredibly rewarding experience and the crowd seemed...
No worries, we knew it was a risk to do such vibrant colors, but we've gotten some great responses from operators with dedicated machines. I do understand that they are most definitely not for all tastes.
There were a couple of factors that went in to the color choices, but really it boils...
I'll try and answer some of the questions that came up as best I can. Thanks again for the interest guys.
Regarding cost: As of today, we are offering prototype builds of the game strictly to arcade owners and operators. Currently, the game can be purchased as a full conversion kit, or...
Thanks for the share sir! I'm still an active KLOV forum member, but I'm more of a "lurker." It was a nice surprise to see the game being mentioned here as it's been quite a while since I've shared updates. The three of us on the team are all huge arcade fans/collectors, so it's nice to hear...
Hey guys, I've been working on refurbishing a Sky Shark in a cabinet that has an atypical tmolding groove. When I tried to add the tmolding today, it wasn't lining up and would fall right out.
I'm hoping that it's just the offset tmolding used in nintendo cabs that is somewhat readily...
I'm looking for some help on this project and thought I might ask around here.
I'm hoping to find someone with Linux experience to help get 15khz @320x240 video from Radeon drivers. If any one has any experience and would want to help with this project, please contact me via PM or at...
We don't have final prices, but one of our biggest goals is to keep the cost of the boards within the price range of a collector, not just exclusively for operators. I can confidently say it will be a fraction of the cost of a typical new arcade board.
Hey guys, just a quick heads up that the SKYCURSER team and I will be bringing a dedicated prototype cabinet to Midwest Gaming Classic this weekend. There will be a new build of the game that has never been available in public featuring super moves and the ability to deflect enemy attacks with...
I just came across a home use only Golden Tee 2005 and I'm not really interested in holding on to it. I'm looking for the following trades:
1. Good condition Dynamo cabinets with good-great condition 25" monitor
2. Very nice 25-27" CGA Monitors
3. Sega Mushiking or Dinoking mini cabinets
4...
Just my opinion and I'm very picky about image quality, but I've owned three macvision monitors and I would never buy one again.
The newer flat CRTs they have major geometric/clarity issues that I just couldn't look past.
The Tri-Snycs definitely look 100% better in VGA than they do in CGA...
The scoring system is still in pre-alpha stages along with the rest of the game. We are working on a unique approach that rewards for style and percentage of possible kills. Think something along the lines of DOOM. Definitely will not be the following the typical scoring approach for Shmups...
