Thanks for the flyer image. As it happens, I do have that flyer scanned at very high resolution, but was hoping for a clean picture of the cabinet. I'll use the flyer if need be, however. Thanks again.
Still looking in particular for clean Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat cabinets.
Hi again,
I am almost finished with this book project, and I am looking for good hi-resolution images of the following cabinets:
Gauntlet
Paperboy
Street Fighter II
Mortal Kombat
If anybody can get those to me soon, I'd really appreciate it. Please let me know.
Thanks,

I'd love to have the Galaxian cocktail image, though to be honest, I am not 100% sure I'll be able to use it. I'm working my way forward in the book, which is a visual and text jigsaw puzzle, so I won't be able to assess my space availability until I get there. Right now, I'm at about 1979, so...
By the way, for anyone interested, I have gotten a committment from the good people at QuarterArcade.com to provide images for many of the games on my list. Please check with me if you have any before actually taking pictures, in case I already have it.
There is an ftp site that my publisher has established. I am happy to provide that to anyone wanting to send pics, but, at their request, I can only provide that individually to people via email.
Once again, I'm grateful for the offer of support. I'm going to list my highest priority needs. I'm looking for good cabinet shots of these, and, in some cases, screenshots if they can be taken directly from the actual machine instead of from emulators. This isn't by any means every machine that...
Thanks, Smart... You're right that the pictures are lower quality than I really need, though some are not bad. Too bad your camera isn't hi-res. But I appreciate the offer.
LOL> I've written a ton of books. Nintendo Games Secrets was actually my first strat guide back in 1990 or so. Since then, I've written nearly 60 of them - to many to recount. I was also an editor at PC Games, GamePro and Electronic Entertainment at different times. But lately, I've been mostly...
I could use any and all of those. Please refer to my previous message for quality requirements. Also, I may not need to tell you any of this, but if you can get pictures without flash, good light, good detail... I've found that photographic arcade cabinets is difficult unless you have good...
Yes. Galaxian is one on my list. Just FYI, for print, I need pretty high-resolution images -- hi-pixel digital cameras will work. Film is good if photos are scanned at 300 dpi or better. Makes for big files.
Thanks
You may have some of my books. I've written a bunch of strategy guides and been an editor on a few magazines over the years. Thanks for reply and the offer.
I'm the author of an upcoming book on the history of electronic games. The book is called "Replay: The Illustrated History of Electronic Games" and the publisher is Osborne/McGraw-Hill. Deadlines are looming. The book covers arcades, home consoles and computer games. I'm currently looking for...
