Some of this info I didn't have yet... basically, the size of the mirror is all I had. Thank you! If I could find the manual for the cabinet that would be awesome too.
If I could afford to buy and ship it, I totally would!
I am having a hard time finding any measurements for this cabinet. I am working on a project that I'd like to build plans for a full-size version of this cabinet and then reduce it to a 1/6 scale like the Replicades. But to do that I need to get dimensions for the cabinet.
This is all I could...
Thanks I downloaded that. Looks like I'm also going to need to get information on the monitor as there are blown fuses on it as well and I have no way of telling if they are even the correct fuses installed. It has like 5 or 6 fuses alone.
I just got this today
Couldn't beat the price at a whopping $0 ... wait... technically they paid me to take it since I found $0.25 inside of it.
It does not power up and I know I will have to change the power cord as it's a bit chewed but not exposed. I don't think the problem is there anyway...
That depends on your income... $100 is not that big of a gamble for most people. If you have the cash that can support it and you are going into this as an educational opportunity then sure, why not?
I was not sure if maybe a ROM on my boards have been not seeded correctly or if it's an issue with my monitor. Any suggestions?
It's hard to see in the above picture but if you look the bottom right part of the screen has discoloring and I'm thinking its a degaussing issue.
Here is another...
Never mind... something told me to check the fuse one more time and it's now working.
Another question though... to colors are not the way they should be and I cant seem to adjust them properly. Any tips on this? Also anyone know where I can purchase the part I need shown in the picture above...
Alright first a bit of history.
When I bought my MVS it was working just fine, a couple days after having it the flyback blew on the thing. I sent it to Chad at ArcadeCup and he capped it and replaced the flyback. I get it home put it back together and something having to do with the audio blew...
As much as I hate to I may have to turn this cab into a hyperspin. I don't want to throw more money into this MVS and only have it keep blowing up on me.
Sorry wanted to post this earlier but my computer reset and I had just formatted the HDD so the update took forever.
Anyway... it's a Hantarex and everything on my cab was working fine before I needed to get that fixed. Now... it could just be a stroke of bad luck with the monitor going then...
I just got my flyback (among other repairs on my monitor) hooked everything back up and something on my mother board went up in sparks. A loud pop followed up by sparking and smoking. I quickly threw the switch to cut power on the power strip to be left in an awful stench.
Any ideas as to what...
I was looking at those earlier today and I plan on buying a Memory Card slot decal, but the problem I have with these decals is that it has all that red around them and it may not match my red on my cab. It should be close but I think it may stick out too much. I'm thinking about using a site...
Before I decided to tear down my side art on my MVS I looked to see if I could get a mask to paint the logos back on the side again. I found it at emdkay, but they seem to not be in business now. Does anyone know where I can buy the masks for this job? Or have any insight to that site if it will...
I never posted the pictures of the bottom. It had gotten moisture damage so the vinyl and wood towards the bottom are really in horrid condition. There are also placed all over the sides and front where the vinyl have tears in them.
And yes it is a smooth surface.
