that isn't horrible but i also would like to get to the admin area so i can customize the welcome screen. otherwise i will just leave the current custom name on it
this is perfect! i picked up one of these bowlers in non-working condition. turns out it was a few leaky caps on the mother board and a dead battery. replaced caps and battery and then reset per these instructions! thanks so much for this as there is not a lot of info on this machine...
Selling my dedicated Zarzon cocktail table. Works 100%. Bought as a project and got it up and running. Great candidate for restoration. $550. Pickup only. Located in Southeast Pa zip 19320.
Just checking on if you still have the adaptor.. have a cocktail and board doesn't seem to boot. Not sure if board or power supply issue. And how did you test it on an lcd?
Update: I took the rollers/bearing and wheels from the happ ps/2 trackball that I had. Using my original ball- it seems to be working better now. I'd actually like to continue to blame something for my paltry score.. but I have had improved games since swapping. As far as the ball and it's...
Thanks for the link to the boards. Like I mentioned, if I buy the happ, I would keep the original to rebuild later. A new one is literally $30 more than 2 new optos and is a quick and dirty fix. When I have more time, I can tinker with the original. Just wanna try to get it up and running...
I just compared my trackball to a happ one with ps/2 optos.. my trackball is smaller as well. Maybe 1/32 to 1/16 smaller. BUT.. my trackball is noticeably different in weight. 165 grams vs 120. I am gonna play with switching the ball and bearings/wheels from the PS/2 one to mine. Still...
That's a good idea. I may actually do both. But a new happ for at least the short term. Then play with the optos to get the old up in order. Recommended shop for the optos?
Thanks. I am leaning toward that. I may use my same ball as it's clean and I like the ivory color as opposed to Snow White. But I will see who has it for quick shipping too.
Turned the games on a week or so ago and have been playing some centipede. Noticed that when scrolling right, there seems to be a stall in movement. At first I thought I was just rolling downwards a bit, but that's not the case. Bearings and rollers were replaced a while ago (probably only a...
I know about Marco, but what other sites are there for pin parts. Particularly Bally SS parts for my eightball. I found that pbresource has some parts and they are half the price of Marco on some pieces (need plungers for the chimes).. any other shops out there to support? Thanks
Rearranging the garage and work area with my arcade stuff. Simply put, I just to clear out. I have 20" 5:4 lcd monitors that I am looking to sell for $15 each ($10 each if buying more than 3).. probably have 15-16 of them. Prefer not to ship, but will if I must. Keep an eye out for other...
I have one in the garage. Had been used a ton over the years (arcade and cars). Seems like the hydraulic is starting to go.. will be shopping for a new seat soon enough
Not familiar with the 50/60 pot, but will look for it tomorrow.. I will dial in the picture first. It doesn't look stretched or squished .. I can also get a longer video and link it again
