Thanks for your input guys.
I believe mine was taken out of a Xybots There is a smaller PCB to the right of frame where the video input resides. It has 3 pots on it followed by a molex for video input. It is currently in a pacman and vertically mounted so i am guessing this does not use the...
Hi All.
The screen on my EZ is completely green like the red and blue are missing. (I can take a picture when i get home). Would a cap kit fix it or should i be looking at something else like the pots? Pretty new to repairs so any info would be helpful right now.
Thanks in advance.

Wow. Since getting my DK i always thought that the routed groove was offset due to poor workmanship (mine is particle board too). I have considered bondo and rerouting, but the offset t-molding sounds more appealing. If you have any joy in finding some, please let me know

Thanks for your feedback guys. I am at home doing the wiring. To fully explain, I'm in the UK and Midway machines are hard to come by. A potential Galaga has come up for sale which i was hoping to convert to an MS Pac. I have a pac board with ms pac roms/hack and was going to look at getting...
Hi all.
Is it possible to run an original pacman in a galaga cab?
Looking at pinouts on mikesarcade, it appears that you can run pacman on DC voltage by making an adapter, however i am pretty noob and would like to hear from the wise amongst you if my theory holds true!
Thanks very much,
Dave
Hi there. Unfortunately it isn't just a rom swop, however a DK Jr can be converted to a "Double Donkey Kong" board that will run both DK jr and Donkey Kong. The only difference is some of the sounds are a little different on Donkey Kong when played on the DK jr sound hardware.
Hope this helps

Hi everyone.
I have a TG4 2 Board DK which i just got around to firing up for the first time. The game mostly works fine apart from when the game starts and Kong Climbs the girders. The "stomping" sound he makes when the girders collapse is missing. (I can hear the sound hardware make a slight...
Hi again.
Thanks for the quick response. Hmmm so it could be different on every game then from the look of your reply. I have had months of pain with this, but the plan is to use an original DK board with a jamma adapter and a switcher. I am actually in the UK and got this cab shipped from the...
Hi there and thanks for the welcome!
The DK had been jamma'd with a 48 in 1. I was aware of the jamma process but presumed that the Sanyo EZ20 was in place with an invertor... The 48 in 1 can output VGA. Basically i was screwed!
Now i have bought a Hantarex Polo 3 15khz monitor which has its...
