Well it played but it was very hard to control! Played a few games and put my SW Racer in. So great to have it working again! It's a shame these motherboards can't be fixed. I had to sacrifice a working Nascar for its motherboard. Oh well, Star Wars Racer is the superior game.

I have this identical problem...was there ever a resolution? Just got a replacement board and I experience the exact same thing as OP. 19 inch upright. One thing I seem to remember is having to change a dip switch setting or something to go from a 13 monitor to a 19 monitor. Ring a bell...

Board was not repairable and I was sent a working replacement instead.

I think it was corrosion under IC13 that kept IC14 and IC15 from working correctly.

I sent it in for repair. Thanks for the ideas though.
