coil info not sure what the J and AE stand for but the 26 is the wire gauge and the 1500 is the number of turns of wire on the coil.......... so it should ohm out at the same value as the old coil

hope this helps i may be stating the obvious, but in general the transistors will turn each other on smallest to largest to complete the coil circuit to ground via the switch matrix which would trigger the smallest transistor, either the switch matrix is triggering it or something else is...
