Thanks, when I get some time (hopefully this weekend) I will take it out and look for bad solder joints. What should I be looking for? Like burnt or brown spots on the board or something different? Thanks

No solder joints were resoldered. Just the full cap kit was done. I wasn't aware of any bad joints since the monitor was previously working fine (except the horizontal bars). Could moving the monitor around cause some bad joints?

Hey everyone, I have a DK that was having vertical bars across the screen so I figured it needed a cap kit. But I was not sure about how to do it. So I found a guy that is about 3 hrs away that would do it and show me how at the same time. So that seemed to go smoothly and took about 30 minutes...
