Problem is most of them will have to be trimmed down ( some of them a lot, never appreciated how wide the Power Stone translite was until I measured it against this shadow box) so I wouldn't want to work with something that might be better suited for someone else. But if no one else will take...
If it has Tetris or a similar puzzle type game on it, she just might fall for that. I've been considering one of those 'bartop' size cabs, I could put that on one of the shelves in my "office" here. Problem is, full size cabs seem to be easier to come by. :p Especially when working on a...
Thanks for the serious recommendation. Will look into the paper.
As for the rest of you clowns, it's good to see you all again, too. But given that she has put her life on the line for this country, I feel she deserves some slack. Besides, The first one of these I want to do is for her to take...
Check this bunch out. I've been to their 'warehouse store' a time or two to get stuff.

They have a pretty good NES selection and prices aren't so bad. Their inventory rotates as they get stuff in and is usually kept up within a day or two on the website.

Long time since I posted here. Really long time.
My wife continues to nix the idea of getting an actual machine, but she seems to have at least stopped the condemnation over marquees. But I wanted to ask you good people for your recommendation.
Given the erratic nature of the sizing of...
As one of the 'space strapped' individuals, a mini/cabaret is just what the doctor ordered. I really would like something for my 'mancave', now that I'll have all the room selling my gaming books and dice collection will give me to maybe put something. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of...
That's why I was considering framing them, sort of in a shadowbox sort of thing. I've seen a few boxes on ebay, but not sure if there is another reliable place to go for 'em that won't gouge the heck out of me on price.

I've been kinda kicking around an idea for one wall in my soon to be renovated (ie repaired from massive flood) Mancave. I've considered looking for old NES game boxes and cutting them down so I have just the front and maybe back art, and sort of doing a collage of them on the wall, or in frames...
I usually do what you did, come here and poke around. More often than not the folks on CL are posting for "Sentimental Value" included, much like folks selling a house. If they put all that 'firm' garbage in there I just usually pass on by.

Greg said it was a security error, but we'll see what happens. I included a link to this thread in my email to him just in case he hadn't been on this morning.
I can't seem to reply to this thread even. This browser is set to delete cookies upon closing. I couldn't get in from the Powerbook this morning either.
I don't suppose you can do a smallish one of our good friend from Tapper, could you? Our Condo got flooded (thus my absence), but the work should be done shortly after the New Year and I'll have a freshly repainted Mancave to decorate!
