Another size comparison... I noticed that the DIN connector just happened to be the exact dimension of one axis of a 3.5" floppy disk, so from that point forward the size of the FPGA board (with connector) was set by 35 year old magnetic media. ;-) (Tandon announced the 3.5" disk in November...
