I went back out to test it Excite Bike board just to eliminate the Super Mario board as the issue and found a broken wire at one connector in the harness! Repaired it and the monitor looks awesome! I'm glad it was simple, I've already done a lot of work to have it look bad.
Hey all, I have a Sanyo monitor in my Super Mario Bros machine that's always looked bad. I ordered a complete kit to rebuild it years ago from Bob and never got around to working on it. the picture was dark, pushed off to one side and just looked dull, it also lost green all together. I finally...
That's the truth right there. Just like the sellers that have a bunch of PCB's, tested working with a picture of it running and the same game PCB "untested". They tested it, it didn't work, it'll sell for more "untested" than "not working".
I have one as well, I'll see if mine is the same. Mine has been sitting for a long time dead, a project I really need to get on because its a grail of mine.
There's no pins on the neck board to connect it to, I looked the entire thing over. The only thing I didn't do was pull the main board to check every inch for one. There is a gray wire from the neck board going to the flyback but I'm fairly certain it's in the right spot.

Without posts like this people can get sucked into these shitty situations. I see an arcade and I'll at least walk in to look around, you never know about the people running it but you assume they are cool because they like arcade games too. I've met several great people from this board, this...
We just got our room, heading back down in a few. I brought my Samsung 360 camera, I want to do a walk through tonight after the crowd thins out for some pics and a video.
I sometimes sneak them in, since my garage is my arcade I can lift the door and roll them in. They go on the back row and when she notices it I say I've had it for a long time, it wasn't working and was over on the far corner till I fixed it. Or I just go buy it.... she quit giving me any crap...
Payment sent for one! I have been looking for an alternative to the 8 way in my multi cab! I'll be happy to post my results and order a few more for other cabs I'm currently working on. Thanks!!
