It would appear that this monitor is very rare, and there are not going to be any replacement parts around for it, shame as it was the original one for the cab, but the tube was burnt to hell anyway so i guess it is time to 'retire' it...

Out of interest, lets say the pinout of the flyback for the 20EZ is the same as the one in this monitor, what would be the consequences of fitting one as an experiment? Would the monitor work poorly or would the whole thing explode with the force of a thousand suns?
Thanks for all the help, it is a bit gutting but these things happen i guess. You are right in ho hard it is to find monitors though, like gold-dust over here. This isn't an easy hobby in Europe!

wonder if just a new chassis is a possibility - the tube has a label on it marked Sanyo 370DJB22 fly - any idea if any other chassis are compatible with this? I know very little about monitors so am unsure of this sort of stuff so apologies if that is a stupid question!
Thanks for the replies - I have taken the fly back out and given it a good clean but the are no markings on it at all apart from E8 on the top and E9 underneath.
I would imagine Sanyo would have reused many of the same parts but would really need to know for sure...
