Run a couple beads of glue on the copper windings on each side of the transformer but don’t gob the F’ing thing full of glue. The transformer is bad and you should ultimately find a junk chassis to pull a good one from.

Any vertical frame can easily be converted to a k7000 all you need is the plastic channel for the front and two nylon bushings for stand offs on the back corners.

For anyone that’s on the fence about these, I have four of them around my warlords cocktail and they work nicely around any cocktail set at a lower leg level.
