Thank you for the info. I do see minimal corrosion on two legs on the xlinx chip. My ram chips look reasonably ok. The last time I saw a bad ram chip was on an nba jam board and that showed physical damage.

Are you referring the 2.09eprom? I can check it with the mame one if you think that will help. I ordered it from arcade services along with a new drive and have already replaced those with no luck.

Also, I noticed on other boards it says checking modem after the first 3 checks are ok. Mine gets hung up after the first 3 tests/

Also are you referring to the chip in u22? The modem is in u719?

Hey, I have a golden tee 2004 board. It does the 3 checks on the boot screen. But, then does not go to check modem? Any idea what would cause this? I got a new harddrive and the problem still happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
