I don't understand you guys.
Promises? What broken promises? A network didnt pick the show up, never promised it would. Getting the show on cable isn't exactly totally in our hands.
When I said we were moving forward it was for a web series on a popular gaming site. That didnt pan out...
Just because your worth so much doesn't mean your paid that, it also doesn't mean there is work out there either, it's feast or famine. But when your working on a project for free it's all famine. But face it any creative career is hard to make living at, but also more rewarding. As for...
Actually a full show was released on a major gaming website back in November. Also Film Garden Entertainment just went belly up. If the launch went well we would of started making new episodes and would need to find people ( the original intent of the thread). Yes the show has been in...
Ha ha, yeah might be a good idea, but yeah if you actually sell the show to a network and have not sold one before, they will only give you 1% of the budget that we would have to split. So yeah not much room for profit here, just a labor of love.
This business is hard. Even just producing...
If you live near TNT you would know Todd gives away "junk" cabinets all the time, but most people never pick them up and just scavenged parts off of them instead.
Btw IGN will not be hosting further iterations of the show for the foreseeable future.
The rights are back in the hands of...
"I'm not able to reveal the status of the show right now. All I can say is we are moving forward with the project. Love all the stuff we got so far. Will be repsponding to emails shortly."
I emailed people back to let them know we got their submissions, as far as what the cable or websites were...
No more machines off the roof check. (That was actually old footage from a unfinished infomercial).
We will be keeping Todd Tuckey (he is the most generous guy I know btw)
We want the show to be about the hobbyist and collectors, we just need find ones that live in a 50 mile radius of...
Just found out that my co-producer has already begun working on the kick starter page. Please let us know what rewards you would like (DVds, t-shirts, credits, brought to you by messages"
Obviously if this goes through I will be active on this site, Todd was the point man on this website...
lol were not looking for free videographers, as someone that makes my living shooting and editing videos I would NOT expect that. Interns from film school would be cool though if they were getting experience and college credit.
The show was originally being shopped around to cable...
It generally costs about $450-$1500 a day for a experienced videographer to shoot for a day. But we're not doing that were trying to do it on a shoe string budget, if any film students want to work on it for free that would be great.
That's perfectly understandably. Just can't do a quality production like this for free forever. Todd will keep posting his videos on his youtube page though. Just testing the waters to see if anyone was interested enough to sponsor the show.
Most reality shows have budget over 200K per...
Is the objection more to do with that you don't like reality shows? We thought people who loved arcade games would rally around a show idea like this, not trash it. Just wondering why so much hate? We put a lot of effort, time, and money into this project and have not made a dime off of it...
