I didn't know them but they did say they work on g08s and their collection is focused on Sega games. So focused, in fact, that he wasn't interested in this 6100 that was on the same table.
Wasn't offered here because Marketplace is more local? No major reason for it other than that I can list there first from my phone easier.
Selling price was $550, same condition. Probably also below market but comps for this stuff are hard to come by these days because other sellers don't...
I am. Sold the g08 within half a day.
I have 3 g05s to sell I haven't taken pics of yet if that helps. :) It's time for me to liquidate a lot of my arcade stuff so I can eventually move someplace likely smaller.
This is exactly what I'm trying to determine with this Red Baron. I have a Battlezone and AD here I'm also working on but the Red Baron is the only one currently playing with real video. It's the closest I have on hand to a reference game board. I'll grab some video tomorrow and probably...
Yeah, they're capped, though that was done in like 2010 and then never used. And P500 did have cracked joints on both of these, the other headers did not.
I'll give the DeOxit cleaning on the pots a try. Can't hurt. I am definitely having brightness issues. Both deflection boards I have...
This worked. I had an issue 4 and an issue 6 trying to plug into an issue 4 or less harness. Removed pin 4 or 5 on each deflection board, plugged them back in, both worked and behaved the same way. Graphics have weird squiggles but clearly that's not deflection related. Now I can do this...
Do you typically desolder and pull or just snip them? I imagine that desoldering might damage the plastic housing?
It was pretty good. We were just stopping in on our way from MA to ME.
Old thread, I know, but I'm just learning this level of depth on the g05. I'm dealing with the pinout difference here as I have a stack of deflection boards I want to repair. I only have one known working board, though, and that has the key at pin 4. Every other board I have has the pin at...
Space Duel, fully working. I'm going to say 2002ish... I think it was $700 with 75 mile delivery and some other parts. Can't remember the full list of parts.
Still works, too.
