I do get sound from the Arkanoid board, just no video. The bootleg Tournament board works fine. I thought the Arkanoid boards were non-Jamma? Any pics to compare would be helpful.

OK. So, correct me if I am wrong. I either buy a bootleg Arkanoid or buy a genuine Tournament Arkanoid and rewire the harness. There is no easy way to use both boards unless they are both bootlegs or both genuine.

The first picture is the working Tournament Arkanoid board. The second is the regular Arkanoid board. It has the Romstar sticker next to the power pin adapter. I had to resize the images to upload, so they might not be that clear.

I am making some new harnesses for my Arkanoid machine, and was wondering what the "POST" connection actually is. I understand "ground", +5 VDC, +12 VDC, etc., but what does the pin labelled "POST" actually connect to?

I am located in MA/RI. I think I am going to go with a cap kit. The burn in is tolerable, it really isn't that bad now that I look at it closer. I would like to get that fixed. If any one can steer me in the right direction for a tube, let me know.

Let me rephrase that. It is less than a year old as it was purchased and placed in the DK cabinet to be used for a MAME project. The builder had an issue with the monitor and video card in the computer, so he just parted out the machine and is going to use something compatible with the card...

I have a working Tournament Arkanoid cabinet. How difficult is it to swap the PCB with an Arkanoid PCB? Is it as simple as just swapping the boards or is there more work to it than that?

I am guessing the FS-2 starter is something on the fixture? If so, there is no starter on this fixture. There is a ballast, but no starter. If it is not on the fixture, then where can I locate it? Thanks.
