  • re: the Journey Cassette Interface Amp board. I'm in the market for a Journey. Does your amp board replace the cassette player or run different model cassette players?

Also, looks like you do board repair work. I'm picking up a Tron that apparently has no sound. Don't know what the issue is yet, but do you repair Tron sound boards?

    Thanks,
    Chris
Morning... so I purchased a kit from the arcadeshop... replaced the items on the 4x4 board... static sound is gone... but no game play sound. Thinking maybe the volume POT is shot? it doesn't work when increasing or decreasing the sound.
Afternoon, I'm having a loud static sound while playing my TRON. Any ideas what could be causing it? Currently unplugged from the dual amp, so at least I can play it without getting a headache.
Hey Chris. I was At Galloping Ghosts arcade in Illinois yesterday, (if you have not been there yet, make the trip someday)met the owner, and told him about my TRON woes. Suggested to reseat the chips first.. and if that doesn't work, then send it off for repairs. So I have your address, and will let you know if I am unsuccessful in my attempt.
    Thanks.
    Bill
I have a board stack from spy hunter that does not boot and only shows graphics on display. I have tried the boardset in a friends working machine and it does not operate. Want to get it fixed up so we can use as a spare setup in case of problems with the currently working unit. Please let me know if you are interested in repairing and what would be your turnaround if I sent it to you immediately. I am in NJ. Please advise.
