So, I can't use a 40pin CD-ROM, correct? What age of computer would this type of drive come out of? I have several old computers at my disposal. Is the ide looking cable different as well?
So, just use a standard 4x and a new IDE...Question though. Searching the CDU76S, it shows as a SCSI...But, it looks just like an IDE connector???
I don't mess with games so I apologize for the simple questions.
Has to be one of two things...RIGHT??? Simpsons Bowling
Ok, I've had my Simpsons Bowling for years. However, I am having some issues now. This exact thing happened awhile ago and I cleaned the inner ring of the cd***see below for what I mean and it started working.
Today it was working fine...
Cool...I've looked on Wells Gardners site but have a difficult time looking for something I don't really understand
What is chads username so I can pm him. I did give him a link to this on my email but I'll pm him also.
Assuming you won't ever need to get to the bolts again. You could countersink the holes and use flush mounted bolts and then go over it with the art. That is if you're not needing to get to them otherwise I agree with above
Ok. I think I'm going to have it fixed than if you think that buying one off ebay would still require work.
How can I find out if it's compatible with that tube? Is the the sticker on the hitachi monitor?
Another stupid question...Say I send the boards to Chad and he has everything working on...
So, I don't need a new neckboard or anything like that, correct? I can just search for a k7500 chassis.
He said the monitor chassis was WGM2775-U0TS50K
Is that correct?
Thanks again for all the help. You've all been awesome!
I have a stupid question as I don't understand this stuff. He said
"The board tested out fine and fired up and worked the problem is in the monitor chasis. The chasis has been worked on by somebody because some of the caps are not original to a wells gardner chasis."
Now my question is what...
Thanks for the help everyone. I don't know why they thought they were a mismatch. Apparently not. However, it could have been used with an incompatible monitor at some point or something. I don't know. Does the advice above from the tech sound correct. What type of chassis should I buy.
What...
I feel really bad as I'm asking a friend of a friend so I'm trying to figure out as much as possible but this is pretty wild.
The number I have on that board that you referenced is
WG 1916787
