    I do not think it is necessary. My stuff was mostly dirty and not making a good connection.

    I just fixed my old one. 1) Min 200 grit sand paper on the bottom portion of the edge connector. Really just knocking off any residue. 2) then took a safety pin and gently bent the top part pins back up. Carefully... 3) took some extra fine steel wool on the main circuit board edge...

    How much would you pay for this? This would potentially be my first project. I was in a warehouse and came across this pacman conversion. The sides were....ok. Going to need bondo.... lots of bondo. The monitor is a wreck. I am thinking about basically gutting the whole thing. Thoughts?

    Just had an auction here in SoCal where 2 - 20th year anniversary edition i believe went for $875 and $950. On CL around here they are listed for ~$1500. Hope that helps.
