Yes, it is in test mode that I'm trying to diagnose it. And I have the schematics too. I found some information on the clock speed and everything looks great there. Going down the rabbit hole further it appears I don't have a good /RD68K signal. Which is the next thing I'm looking at as to why...

I just ordered a SYNGEN chip. On the 1H and 2H signal at those pins they are not producing the right clock speed. So it seems the chip is not operating right. I'll report back if that did the trick once i swap it out. Fingers Crossed!

Hello fellow arcade enthusiast! I have a gauntlet arcade board with no sound at all, and the chip fails to respond when testing. Things I've done so far. Replaced all sockets replaced the 6502 chip. replaced the 74ls74 chip driving the /SNDIRQ. this is measuring .698 volts and never changes...
