Thanks for the help and welcome guys, nice to be around other arcade lovers. I did test it with a load, I was running tekken 2 and its playing with a very fuzzy picture even after extensive adjustments to brightness, horizontal and vertical sizes and postioning that its impossible to play. So...

The 5 volt connection on my power supply is running fine but the 12 volt was running around 30 volts (!). When I turned the knob all the way down it only got it around 25 volts. Any ideas?
