It doesn't work and I'm not spending any more money on it. You can read my posts in the help/repair threads as to what is wrong with it it. I have new parts, power supply etc. but I don't want to deal with it. The power button connectors need re-soldered for it to turn on.
I cannot deliver...
well the battery is at 3v, so looks like a ressurection kit may not even solve the problem. Looks like this is a lost cause. I'm going to swap out my power supply and stuff with the ones I got and see what happens. If nothing, I'll probably just scrap the game and sell off the parts.
the voltage was 5v on the power supply. I got an email from segaressurection telling me how to check the voltage on the battery to see if it's a suicide, I am going to check that tonight.
ok, putting the voltage meter to the top board, I got 2-3 volts, sometimes a 4. don't haze me, but I was to afraid to do the power supply because i didn't want to get zapped, I'll have to have my dad help me, he knows more about electronics than I do.
No, I actually didn't take the 2 boards apart, I'm going to try this when I get home. Also, i didn't notice if the bottom board red light was on or not, I will check that as well. Thanks guys.
yeah i'm going to get a voltage meter after work today. I did disconnect everything to make sure there were no bent pins or anything and everything looked ok.
Ok, thanks to everybody that answered my questions in my previous post. Now that I have the game at my house, I can give a more accurate detail of the problems.
#1. The game is an Outrun conversion. I did get some paperwork with the game.
Here is what happens with power on.

same thing happened to me with my World Series the Season. The 2nd player coin light wasn't working, opened her up tinkered around and all of sudden worked, I guess something was just loose.
My favorite and thankful "ghost" fix was when I accidentally magnetized my MVS monitor replacing the...
ok before I do anything I'm going to clean this thing out, it's pretty dirty inside, which leads me to my next question.
is there anything, other than the monitor suction cup thing, that holds electricity when unplugged?
after reading the Sega Resurrection page, more than likely the security thing is the problem. The system powers on, I know this. But the security thing and dead battery is probably why there's no video/audio or anything else.
this is what I'm getting.

Can't really see the picture great. I didn't notice anything missing when I looked at it yesterday.
I'm going to pick it up tonight. let me spend some time getting it cleaned up inside, it was pretty dirty, and do a couple routine things that i know I can do. more than likely though I will take you up on that....I'll be in touch.
